Subscriptions, courses, assessments, certificates and teams. Fourteen short sections, written to be read in minutes.
Educate is the open course platform from IPP: one subscription, every course in the catalogue, self-paced, with a certificate available at the end of each course. You do not need IPP membership or anything else to use it, just an account.
Educate is one of four connected platforms that share a single account: IPP for membership, Activate for qualification pathways and exams, and Calibrate for your free competency and CPD record. Educate is the widest way in.
One course in the catalogue is permanently free, start to finish, certificate included. Every other course gives you its first lesson free, so you can judge the teaching before you pay anything.
One account covers Educate and the rest of the platforms. Every Sign in button goes to the central sign-in at id.modulesix.io, and the same credentials work everywhere.
Forgotten password: use the reset link on the sign-in page. To change the email on your account, contact hello@ipp.pro.
The subscription is £20 a month or £145 a year, and the annual price is deliberately well under twelve monthly payments. IPP members from Candidate up pay half, and so do verified students (NUS) and military on any tier. Hold both and the two halves stack on Educate: £5 a month or £36.25 a year.
Current pricing always lives on the subscribe page; if this page and that one ever disagree, the subscribe page wins.
At the Stripe checkout you tick one box: that you agree to the terms, that you want access to the course content immediately, and that you understand your statutory 14-day right to cancel ends once access begins. That is the trade for getting everything the moment you pay rather than waiting two weeks. Stripe records your confirmation with the payment and we keep our own record of it.
The full policy is in the terms.
You can cancel at any time, from your account or by emailing hello@ipp.pro. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, monthly or annual, and you keep full access until then. Payments for a billing period that has already started are not refunded.
Payments are taken by Stripe and receipts come from Stripe to the email on your account. The name on your statement is Module Six Ltd, the company that operates Educate and the IPP platforms.
If a renewal payment fails, Stripe retries it and emails you. If it cannot be collected, your subscription lapses to the free taster: the free course and first lessons stay, the rest waits for you to resubscribe. Nothing you did is lost, and it has no effect on any IPP membership you hold.
Courses are short, structured and self-paced: no deadlines, no expiry. New courses are added to the catalogue at no extra cost while you subscribe, and your progress and notes are kept in your IPP record.
Each course module has an assessment: 10 questions drawn from a pool of 20, with 70% to pass and three attempts per module. Pass the assessment for every module in a course and you have completed it.
Completing every module of a course mints a Certificate of Achievement with a unique reference. Anyone can check a certificate on the verify page using that reference.
A Certificate of Achievement certifies structured learning. It is not an assessed competence qualification; that is what an IPP qualification on Activate is for, and the two are deliberately different things.
Completing a course can be logged as CPD in your Calibrate record, whether or not you hold IPP membership. Calibrate is free for every individual, permanently, and the record belongs to you, travelling with you across employers.
Employers buy Educate licences per person per year, priced in bands that fall as the team grows, and allocate them to staff. Teams can buy Educate on its own or alongside Calibrate seats, and holding both earns a bundle discount on the overlap.
Start on the For teams page. Larger teams can talk to us for invoiced, sales-assisted setup.
IPP membership is separate from Educate, but the two are friendly: members from Candidate up get Educate at half price for as long as their membership is active. Candidate is £29 a year and includes the full Award qualification pathway on Activate, so if you are subscribing anyway it can pay for itself.
Tiers and joining live at ipp.pro/membership.
Educate is developed and operated by Module Six Ltd; the contract for any purchase is with the company, and the terms name it in full.
